It's far the say iin India whilst the Elephant may be considered the traditional carrier of all goods and transportation, the Scooter is a pretty close second and nothing ceased to amaze me how much and what is crammed onto a often battered old 50cc scooter. I was in South Goa once and with a just a small pillion passenger on board I was getting some strange stares. Turns out that just two people and no cargo or freight is just very unusual , this was a short conversation with a chap who had three children includes his oldest holding a four foot pain of glass and his youngest holding a piglet before somehow driving off perfectly balanced. The shock of this prevent a picture regrettably.
We were still in Pudicheery south of Chennai (Madras to you and me - a lamb Chennai just doesn't sound right does it) and this being a major working town with various industries on all sides carrying whatever needed to be carried for domestic and business use was in full flow.

The Indian Britax child carrier beign adopted here.

India's representative for the Highland Games had just been announced.
There is no limit to what they will try and carrier but rarely seem to still anything dropped.
