I slept well , we are three hours ahead so it will catch up. The rooms are like a small castle. two bedrooms with three beds , all four poster but no good if your a Ronnie Corbett size as it's a hop, skip and a jump to get into bed. The seating area a bit different- a small set of cushions to sit on which is fine is you are

a) under 50

b) Do yoga

c) A Boney M fan of Rasputin 

The forecast has not been great although warm, there is a lot of rain predicted , not much we can do about that but over breakfast in the main accommodation we opt for a walking tour of the capital Stone Town, gone for a free range option rather than ask the Hotel, so left this up to Clare to source our tour guide and 10 mins later we are sorted, really nice chap and have a wander through the back streets with some stop for commentary and not to push you into a relatives shop to buy things. Some great history about the Islands, People and Buildings and 2.5hrs well spent finding out things the guide books skip by or ignore. We end up at Jaws Corner - nothing to do with the great white shark but their equivielant of speakers corner and just a place for a chat.
